The newest addition to the fleet is Lewisville Engine 3, a 1963 Ford/Hahn 750 GPM pumper with a 500 Gallon tank. Although nearly completely original the truck did have a fiberglass tank installed at some point to replace the original steel tank.

The engine was originally purchased by the Auburn, PA Fire Company in South Eastern Pennsylvania. It subsequently served with the Morris Township Fire Company in Tioga County as well as the Harrison Township Fire Company in Potter County before going to the Tri-Town Fire Company in Ulysses, Potter County PA. As you can tell by the lettering Tri-Town never really put the truck in service. To the best of my knowledge the truck never went on a call while Tri-Town had it.

Below are a few photos of what the truck looked like at the end of March 2006.

Update - July 2006: Well we've been working on her when we have a free moment. Got her cleaned up a bit and the fire department lettering removed. Have the light back on the roof and the missing spot light back on. We've had it out pumping at the neighbor's pond several times and as you can see from the photos belew she's got no problems doing that. Also been working on making oak slat bases for in the  compartments to make this look a little nicer and easier to mount equipment inside. We had a little problem with the cooling system, appears that she sat outside with fresh water in the heat exchanger. So for now, that is disconnected and the cooling problem has gone away. We also took off the "cross-lay" compartment that had been added to it at sometime in its life with Auburn.

While she won't be going to any musters this year hopefully by 2007 things will be pretty much squared away and we'll have her out and about. There is still plenty of work to do to get her polished up and looking nice, re-finish the hose bed oak as well as finish the oak for the compartments. Aside from that she just needs equipment mounted in the  proper places.
